Good news for Nintendo Switch users as another popular game title is about to hit the console. First released in PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platform, Bethesda's shooting video game "Doom" is announced to arrive in Nintendo's latest hybrid platform on Nov. 10.

Engadget got the first look of Doom in Nintendo Switch, and it appears that the gaming experience is not so different when compared with other console versions. The game sequences play just as fast as the original version, although some scenes appear to be quite hazy. The difference in graphics quality should already be expected, as the Nintendo Switch is powered by a standard NVIDIA Tegra X1 GPU. This chip pales in comparison with the latest AMD Radeon processors included in PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

It is also worth noting that "Doom" can also be played in Nintendo Switch at 30 frames per second. The game's versions in PC, PS4, and Xbox One can be enjoyed at full 60 fps. Nevertheless, the difference of graphics quality in lower frame rate will not be a big deal, as long as the game runs smoothly without freezing.

Another redeeming quality of "Doom" Nintendo Switch version is that the lighting features of the game appear the same. However, it was not revealed in the Switch preview if the game was recorded through handheld mode or in TV mode, which may affect the lighting quality.

As reported by Eurogamer, the "Doom" gameplay in Nintendo Switch will just be the same as the other console versions. It will remain a full single-player title, complete with all 18 maps, difficulty modes and extra settings such as the ultra-nightmare mode. "Doom" on Switch will have the multiplayer modes and arcade mode, which provides a game replay with time and score attack displayed.

"Doom will not be the only game title arriving in Nintendo Switch on Nov. 10. It was also announced that "Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus," will make its debut in the said console next month.
