"Doctor Who" is back for another interesting season and the pilot episode was beyond interesting at best. The TARDIS brought a new and old face. The 12th Doctor will not only deal with his latest regeneration, he also has to deal with a dinosaur in Victorian London. How did a dinosaur end up in London? Here's what happened, according to TVLine.

The Doctor and Clara were brought to their old place, where the doctor felt frantic about everything from the bedroom to the house accents. Madame Vastra puts the doctor to sleep to calm him down.

Later, while Clara is still getting used to the doctor's regeneration, the Doctor leaps out the window searching for the dinosaur. When the Doctor reaches the dinosaur, it combusts. This led the gang to suspect who is responsible for this. After some investigation, Vastra discovered that the combustions are actually covering up missing bodies.

Meanwhile, the Doctor and his pal are having a talk about post-regeneration and they believe that the "other" is the one responsible for the newspaper ad. At this moment, the two are already trapped and before they can make their escape, they were stuck in their seats and going down the larder. With effort, the two got free but during the Doctor's escape, he sees Clara trying to escape the leader.

Of course, the Doctor won't let any harm happen to Clara, so he comes back into a mechanical man skin with Jenny, Strax and Vastra. When more droids arrive, the Doctor follows the leader and try to talk to him. As the droids are about to corner the gang, the droids deactivate and the Doctor saves the day again.

At the end of the episode, Clara and the Doctor go out for coffee. But that's not all. Missy, the Doctor's girlfriend is introduced.

It was a great pilot episode for season 8, but be sure to catch the "Doctor Who" Season 8 Episode 2 "The Girl in the Fireplace" next week.
