'Doctor Who' season 8 episode 2 spoilers: A peek 'Into The Dalek'

Following the success of the "Doctor Who" Season 8 premiere last week, there's no dilly-dallying in the upcoming episode as Doctor and Clara faces their main rival—the Dalek Fleet. The faceoff will surely challenge the "newfound trust" between the two, said IBT.

According to the official synopsis of "Into The Dalek," "A Dalek fleet surrounds a lone rebel ship, and only the Doctor can help them now ... With the Doctor facing his greatest enemy, he needs Clara by his side. Confronted with a decision that could change the Daleks forever he is forced to examine his conscience. Will he find the answer to the question, "Am I a good man?"

In the debut episode, the Doctor was still feeling the aftermath of the regeneration, but in Episode 2, he is really back. There's no more identity crisis for the 12th Doctor and no more worrying for Clara. The duo will face their nemesis head on together.

Last episode, Clara got a phone call from the 11th Doctor telling her to take care of the 12th Doctor. As for the new Doctor, he still needs to learn how to fight against the Daleks, which are very formidable foes.

According to spoilers, "Into The Dalek" will present the Doctor with the same predicament of choosing between mercy or punishment. Further spoilers say that in this season, the dark side of the Doctor will be explored. Nevertheless, the comedic atmosphere will still be there of course.

The clip for "Into The Dalek" was released and the Doctor and Clara are seen going into the darkness and being  outnumbered by the Daleks.

Catch the new episode of "Doctor Who" on BBC America at 9 p.m. every Saturday.
