'Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris' news: DLC previewed, endgame still problematic

It seems that "Destiny 2," with its new downloadable content (DLC), carries both a blessing and a curse, as "Curse of Osiris," despite bringing in new content, was somewhat disappointing.

According to PC Gamer, the new DLC is at a difficult spot in the game's fun factor given the lack of challenges. As such, reaching the end of the game and enjoying all the hard-earned loot that players have accumulated throughout the journey becomes irrelevant for some players. "Curse of Osiris" lacks the necessary features and additions to remedy this, apparently.

In an overview for the DLC, which the said website published, "Curse of the Osiris" seemingly falls short of players' expectations. However, it should improve since all the issues associated with "Destiny 2's" endgame are set to be fixed. After all, the DLC will not be officially launched until early December.

As such, a lot remains to be seen once the DLC launches on Dec. 5, where Bungie, the game's developers might add a lot of new game features to it. "Curse of Osiris," despite the supposed disappointing endgame, actually has a lot of new features.

For starters, the DLC will be introducing a new gameplay area into the game, which takes on the planet Mercury and will include a lot of new mysteries for players to solve. This new area, of course, will be the prime picking for players to acquire new and hopefully more powerful loot in-game, as well as for those looking to test their endgame gear and how it holds up.

Apart from the new area, a new story is also included with a quest involving new characters such as Osiris, the main character of the DLC's plot, and Sagira, a female ghost, as well as old characters returning for the story such as Brother Vance and Ikora.

Players will find out if the "Curse of the Osiris" is good or bad once it arrives to "Destiny 2" on Dec. 5.
