The productions of Marvel's "Deadpool 2" and "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" have officially wrapped up. "Deadpool 2" actor Ryan Reynolds and "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" director Simon Kinberg both posted pictures on their Instagram accounts about finishing production.

"Deadpool" in 2016 was a big success for Marvel and a credit scene already confirmed a sequel. Ryan Reynolds will, of course, return as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool together with Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), and more. There have also been big announcements of new Marvel characters to debut in the sequel, including Cable to be portrayed by Josh Brolin and Domino by Zazie Beetz.

The "Dead pool 2" teaser trailer released earlier this year left fans wanting for more, especially with a surprise cameo by comic book legend Stan Lee. One of the biggest thing about "Deadpool" is breaking the fourth wall, with Deadpool talking to the audience directly. In an interview on "Good Morning America," Brolin confirmed that his character, Cable, will also break the fourth wall.

In the X-men universe, "Game of Thrones'" star Sophie Turner will reprise his role as Jean Grey aka Dark Phoenix in Marvel's "X-Men: Dark Phoenix." The plot of the movie revolves around Dark Phoenix who is unable to control her powers resulting to the X-men resolving the crisis with their own hands. The young ensemble of mutants will also return along with James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, and more.

The year 2018 will be a big one for Marvel, with a good line-up of superhero movies. "Deadpool 2" is scheduled to hit theaters on June 1, 2018 and "X-men: Dark Phoenix" on Nov. 2, 2018. Meanwhile, the latest trailer of a new X-men movie, "The New Mutants" starring Maisie Williams and Charlie Heaton, has recently been released. It is set to come to theaters in April 2018.
