The Dallas Mavericks are one of the teams who are linked to every possible upcoming free agents and with the 2011 NBA champions being involved in trying to sign Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, Mavs center Tyson Chandler understands that it is all business.

In a report by ESPN, Chandler does not seem to be affected with the Mavericks' attempt on lading Jordan who might take his role once a deal is reached.

"No, because business is business. And at the end of the day, I get it. The franchise [has] to make the best decision for the franchise," Chandler said in a charity baseball game.

The 32-year-old added, "Of course, I still feel like I can go, still have a lot to give. But at the end of the day, I feel like I'll make the best decision for myself and my family and the Mavericks will make the best decision for the organization."

Along with the Mavericks, Chandler also played for the Chicago Bulls (2001–2006), New Orleans Hornets (now Pelicans, 2006-2009), Charlotte Bobcats (now Hornets, 2009-2010), and the New York Knicks (2011-2014).

Chandler was already in his second stint with the Mavs last season after being let go by the team following a championship-winning season, where he played a crucial role, in 2011.

With Dallas trying to acquire Jordan, the Milwaukee Bucks expressed interest in Chandler as the teams's head coach Jason Kidd, was his former teammate with the Knicks.

"I didn't see that coming. But obviously it's a huge honor, because I spent two years on the Knicks, and that they want to pursue me means he thinks highly of me. Future Hall of Famer and that's humbling," Chandler said about the matter.

But amidst all the talks with free agency, Chandler just wants to get everything done.

"I would definitely like to get things over with as soon as possible. I'm not that guy. I'm a loyal guy. This whole process has been mind-racking," he said.
