'Criminal Minds' season 11: Episode 14 spoilers, show ratings revealed

 CBS Official

The latest episode of "Criminal Minds" shows the audience how a mother and son relationship can end up in such a twisted way.

On Wednesday night's episode, "The Bond," the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) team experienced some challenges piecing together the puzzle of how victims that appeared to have no connection to each other ended up dead in truck stop restrooms.

They were stabbed to death elsewhere and taken to the dumping site, tied to a urinal. When Hotch's (Thomas Gibson) team carried out the investigation, they thought that only one unsub is involved, but later on they figured out that a mother is manipulating her son to continue her crimes for her. That's how the episode showed how strong a mother and son bond can be.

In the next episode, things are getting even more suspenseful as the BAU will deal with an abduction case. It's likely to be an amazing story of the week, according to CarterMatt.

According to the synopsis for the next episode, "Hostage," a teenaged girl flees a suburban home wherein she was kept for a very long time as a captive. The BAU will track down the unsub as he did not only kidnap one lady, but there were also two others. Who knows there could be more?

Captivating episodes of "Criminal Minds," just like the latest one, are among the many reasons why this crime drama series continues to be a popular favorite. The series is one of the top-rated programs on the last Wednesday of this month, Variety reported.

Based on the Nielsen rating, the CBS crime drama maintained a strong number with its 9 p.m. timeslot with an overall 9.4 million viewers and a rating of 2.0 in the 18–49 years old demographic.

With an interesting story to come, the show is definitely not losing its numbers anytime soon.

"Criminal Minds" airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
