Cleveland Indians vs Boston Red Sox live stream (TBS): Watch MLB Playoffs 2016 Game 2 baseball online

The Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians clash in Game 2 of their MLB 2016 Playoffs Division Series on Friday afternoon, and the Red Sox will be desperate to get back into this series with a win here today. The game has a scheduled start time of 4.38 p.m. ET and takes place from Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. The game can be watched on TV on the TBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

The Red Sox will send out David Price to the mound on Friday afternoon as they look to level the series back to 1-1.

Price pitched against the Cleveland Indians on Opening Day, allowing them five hits and two runs as he struck out 10 across his six innings on the mound. Boston will be hoping he can rise to the occasion as the Red Sox dare not fall to 0-2 with another loss today, which would leave them on the brink and with a mountain to climb.

However, questions still surround Price as he has yet to win a postseason game as a starter. Boston desperately needs their $217 million ace pitcher to step up and change that history today. But he is just 2-7 with a 5.12 ERA in 14 career postseason appearances, and even more condemning is the fact that both of those wins came in relief.

Meanwhile the Indians will rely on Corey Kluber as their starting pitcher as they look to capitalize on their win in Game 1. Kluber went 18-9 this season with a 3.14 ERA, and if things go all the way he is likely to step up again for Game 5.

The 5-4 loss for the Red Sox in Game 1 has immediately put them under pressure to get a result today to steal a split at Progressive Field before things head back to Boston for Games 3 and 4.

Price has said ahead of the game, "I want to have that really good postseason game. I know that I'm capable of doing that."

The Red Sox managed to post an MLB best 27-17 road record over the second half of the season, and even in the first half of the season they were positive on the road, going 19-18.

Boston manager John Farrell said, "When you look at what took place in the months of August and September. Our rotation stepped forward in terms of being more consistent one through five. In the month of September, our bullpen was at its best. And I think that was the benefit of maybe some less innings pitched in August. They were able to catch a little bit of a second wind. But bottom line, we pitched better in the second half, and that led to the record."
