Cleveland Cavaliers NBA 2015 news, rumors: Pressure mounting for David Blatt

The Cleveland Cavaliers are safely into the NBA Eastern Conference Finals and have a good chance of snagging the NBA title. But even if the Cavaliers do win it all, head coach David Blatt's stay is now under fire.

Blatt is being scrutinized as of late, particularly for that costly mistake which thankfully did not happen during their tiff with the Chicago Bulls. This happened in game 4 when Blatt wanted to call timeout in the closing seconds but the deal was the Cavs didn't have any to call. Thankfully assistant coach Tyronn Lue was able to pull him before the refs were able to see it.

Blatt admitted his mistake and that he almost blew it.

In the same game, it will be recalled that James scratched Blatt's final play which called for Lebron to inbound the ball. James changed all that and demanded he get the ball for the final shot. As everyone knows, James won that game for the Cavs.

With two blunders in one night, many are now questioning Blatt for his coaching at least for that game. God knows where the Cavs would be now if James was not able to hit that shot, on vacation probably at the worst.

Another question in mind is would another blunder sit well with the Cavs?

Critics believe Blatt will be given the boot despite being a rookie coach but all that could depend on how Cavs management looks at it. There will be room for mistakes and unfortunately it would have been made in a situation that could be devastating if Blatt's blunder did materialize.

As it stands now, Blatt's job is believed to be on the line though there is no official word or inkling that he would be relieved this soon. And hopefully he doesn't make another mistake as the Cavs find themselves nearing their goal, the NBA title.
