"Clash of Clans" is still one of the most popular mobile games to date, and it is going to see a major update release this coming December. These updates will include brand new air defenses and sea-themed additions to the game.

According to Mobi Picker, the Town Hall 11 is going to see new levels and multiple upgrades in its single target and multiple target defenses. This will aid it in keeping up with the new offenses that have been added to the game. However, these are not the only additions that the game is getting before the end of the year.

The report continues to point out that the game will be getting a water-themed base called the "Shipwreck," and this will introduce several sea-themed creatures, such as mermaids, into the game. Along with this addition comes the "wizard vs goblin" battle feature and both the Red Archer Queen and Red Barbarian King.

The Shipwreck is stated to be in poor shape when the player first encounters it but it can be repaired for 50,000 gold and then can be used similarly to the clan castle. The only main difference is that it focuses on sea units instead of ground or air units.

Jobs N Hires points out that Supercell had confirmed that an update is coming in December, but they have not yet explicitly confirmed the content of this update. That being said, the rumors of the air defenses, the Red Barbarian King, and the sea-themed expansions have been speculated for some time and, are they likely going to be included in the update.

Fans speculate that this will be the final update for the year, and the game will not be receiving any further updates and expansions until some time in 2017. Supercell has yet to confirm if this is true and when they might release another update for "Clash of Clans."
