Singer Ciara and her National Football League (NFL) boyfriend Russell Wilson made headlines this year when they announced that they will be abstaining from sex before marriage. Expectedly, their announcement made their fans curious and excited on when the two will finally tie the knot.

When Entertainment Tonight asked Ciara about wedding bell signs, the singer teased that she is all amped up for a "fun, exciting, eventful" year ahead. She likewise did not discount the prospect of an engagement.

But in the meantime, Ciara insisted that she and Wilson are still single. "Look at my hand!" she said as she held up her ring-less hand on the red carpet at the Billboard Women in Music event on Friday.

For those who are keen to see her get married, Ciara assured that it will happen in God's perfect timing. "It's all about time," the singer said. "Everything falls in perfect timing with the way it's supposed to."

Ciara already has a son named Future with her former boyfriend also named Future. The proud mother could not help but beam as she talked about her son's developments. "He's amazing! He is walking and talking. He is 18 months going on three years old," she jokingly said. "He is so tall, but he's moving along so well. I'm so proud. He literally is in the parrot stage. It's the cutest thing in the world!"

One of the reasons why Ciara loves her beau so much is because he gets along so well with her son. "He is just an amazing guy. Honestly, him being in my life is really sweet. Life is pretty good, I can say that," she told People magazine about Wilson.

Even though the two haven't gotten engaged yet, it does not mean that they aren't contemplating their future together. According to Ciara, lots of babies are on the horizon for them.

"I definitely [want more kids], yes. [Russell and I] discuss a lot of things... a lot of good things," she said.
