It is never easy for parents to see their children getting sick or hurt, so Hollywood couple Mark Burnett and Roma Downey are drawing strength from God as their son, Cameron, battles an unknown health condition.

Burnett, who is the executive producer of "The Voice," posted a photo of his 20-year-old son on Instagram (@markburnett13). In it, Cameron was holding up his shirt to reveal the medical wires attached to his chest.

"Cameron Burnett. In every challenge, you have the toughest mental attitude I've ever seen. Stoic, thoughtful, grateful and affirmative all at once and every day. Seriously, son, you are amazing. The Holy Spirit is always with you," Burnett captioned the photo.

His wife, Roma Downey, did the same as she requested for prayers for Cameron. The "Touched By An Angel Star" wrote on Instagram (@romadowney), "Dear friends, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers for our son Cameron. You all responded so fast and Mark and I are so appreciative of your kindness and prayer support. Please keep those prayers coming today so we can get him safely home from hospital and restored to perfect health. Thank you God for making a way. In Jesus name. Amen."

The couple shared their son's condition back in 2014 when he underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor, according to The Christian Post. The reason for his recent hospitalization remains unknown to the public.

In the work front, Downey is actually busy as she is slated to star in the family drama, "The Baxters." The series is based on the book series by Karen Kingsbury, according to Variety. The show will be executive produced by Will Packer and Jaime Primak Sullivan of Will Packer Media in addition to Roma Downey, LightWorkers Media, and Kevin Mann and Brendan Bragg of Haven Entertainment.

"By making it ourselves it gives us a creative freedom we wouldn't have elsewhere," Downey said of her new project. "These characters are sincere in their faith, and that sets them apart from other stories."
