'Castle' season 7 spoilers: Castle is alive- Premiere to be two-part episode

Castle season 6 finale ended up in smokes - literally. Rick Castle's car was engulfed in fire and smoke during a car accident and Castle was nowhere to be found. With Castle missing with no clue or trail, the team behind "Castle" created new story arc that will basically revolve around the investigation of what really happened to Castle.

In line with the new storylines, "Castle" will be adding new characters to the show, who will help solve the mystery. Ausiello of TV Line confirmed that a guest-starring role of "Henry," who is highly intelligent yet an unassuming agent will join the cast. Henry will have no problem blending in the crowd. Apart from Henry, other new charactrs will be the Hamptons police sergeant, a shrink, a doctor and a coast guard captain.

Another revelation is that the first episode for season 7 will be a two-part premiere, according to TV Line. David Amman, the new showrunner, is writing the premiere episode and Rob Bowman will direct it.

There is another good news for "Castle" fans. Nathan Fillion will be joining the cast of season 7, which means Castle is alive!

"Castle" will pick up right where it left off - at the car accident. Marlowe told TV Line a few weeks back that season 7 will pick-up in real time. "We feel like, given the way we left off, we have an obligation to start exactly where we ended," shared Marlowe.

It is just a couple of months wait for "Castle" to return with an all new season. Season 7 will premiere on September and will consist of 23 episodes.
