Canon news: Camera giant might announce newest mirrorless camera product

A new mirrorless camera by Canon might be announced next month, according to rumors. The rumored product presentation is said to open its doors only to top executives of the company, and media nor any sales people are not invited.

According to Canon Rumors, only a few selected dealers and CEOs are invited to the event. There are no information in the article about a specific release date and the name of the product. "The invitation was described as being very high end, printed on heavy glossy paper, and showing a silhouette of a camera shaped like the EOS M6 with a hole cut out where the sensor should be."

The article also reports that Canon might be revealing something much bigger compared to the usual entry-level APS-C shooter.

There are still no further updates about the speculated EOS M100's successor and its price rate. The EOS M100 was given the price rate of $599.99 when it was released in 2017. The product's price tag was then slashed down to $549.99.

According to EOS M100 reviews, Canon needs to step up its game for the next one. The M100 received fairly good reviews as well as negative feedback. The product was applauded for its responsive and easy-to-navigate touchscreen function and for its efficient wireless connectivity. The autofocus system of the M100 is also a big hit for both professional and novice photographers. However, a number of professionals are disappointed for the absence of a viewfinder option in the product. TechRadar gave the EOS M100 a score of 3.5 out of 5 star, and a 6 out of 10 score from Trusted Reviews. Both critics recommend the camera for beginners.

People are waiting for the rumored announcement in February and are hoping for a better product to be added to the EOS M series.
