The minimum system requirements to run "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" have been released on the game's official Steam page. The requirements are not too different compared to the previous entry in the series, "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" but it should be noted that the game requires at least 70 GB of free hard drive space.

The game requires an OS of Windows 7 64-bit or later and at least a 3.30GHz Intel Core i3-3225 processor or an equivalent. Players will need a minimum of 8 GB RAM. In terms of the bare minimum graphics card, the 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 and 2 GB AMD Radeon HD 7850 are both listed as the lowest possible choices.

DirectX11 compatibility is required, and there must be at least 70 GB of hard drive space. However, it should be noted that this is just for "Infinite Warfare." If players will also be installing the remastered version of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" they will need an additional 40 GB of space, amounting to 110 GB total.

The notes also point out that additional hard drive space may be required in the future, particularly as new updates and patches are released. These patches may alter some gameplay elements, balance multiplayer aspects, and fix bugs and glitches. More hard drive space is also going to be required for future DLC content.

It is noted by VG 24/7 that these are just the minimum system requirements. As of writing, the developers have yet to reveal the recommended and the optimal PC builds to play the game at its highest possible settings have yet to be released.

While "Infinite Warfare" will require up to 70 GB of space , while it is noted in the report that "Black Ops III" only required 10 GB of hard drive space. This may be due to the fact that "Infinite Warfare" may be using higher quality assets and graphics or it may be locked content that will only be made available with transactions, DLC, or patch updates.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is scheduled to roll out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on Nov. 4.
