'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' chapter 5 spoilers news: Boruto's resentment for Naruto intensifies

Boruto: Naruto Next Generation Weekly Shonen Jump

The "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" manga has focused on Boruto, son of the original main character Naruto, and his attempt to become a ninja by passing the Chunin exams. According to iDigital Times, Boruto is going to resent his father a little more once Naruto exposes his son's method of cheating in the exams.

According to the report, the chapter sees Boruto and his companions enter the third and final round of the Chunin exams. These exams focus on one-on-one battles between would-be ninjas. Boruto is matched against Shikadai and for the initial half of the fight it appears as if Boruto woud lose and that he'd fail to become a real ninja.

However, Boruto uses a device on his wrist to gain the upper hand. When he tries to claim the victory, Naruto will arrive and expose the forbidden device and show to the entire crowd that his own son cheated during the exams. As Naruto deals with Boruto's deceit, Sasuke receives information about incoming assailants.

Hall of Fame Magazine reports that this is where Chapter 5 will pick up. Sasuke, Sakura, Shikamaru and Naruto try to fight them back and despite Naruto being a very powerful Hokage the two ninjas gain the upper hand and will even be able to knock him out using some sort of device akin to the one Boruto had used to win the fight against Shikadai.

The identities of these two ninjas are still unknown but it is pointed out that they do want something in the village. Rumors suggest that they are in fact after the spirit of the fox within Naruto and are willing to use all forms of forbidden technology as well as their ninja abilities in order to steal it from Naruto. What they want to do with it or how they will use it remains a mystery.
