Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops have split up after less than six months of dating.

The two met during the season premiere of this season's "The Bachelorette," which found Kaitlyn Bristowe being chosen by the suitors over Nilsson. After the latter fled to her hotel room in tears, Toops told Bristowe that he was eliminating himself from the competition so that he could pursue a relationship with Nilsson. Once it was revealed that the two decided to become boyfriend and girlfriend in the third season of the show, the pair has not been shy about sharing their love on social media, often posting pictures on Instagram.

A source told Us Weekly that the two split up "a while ago" while another source said that they were never serious.

Just last month, Toops — a musician from Nashville, Tennessee — posted a selfie with Nilsson kissing him on the cheek. He captioned the photo, "She makes every picture better."

Both Nilsson and Toops posted photos of themselves getting cozy on a red couch, and the couple wore beanies as the 27-year old's arm was draped around the musician's shoulders. Nilsson captioned her shot, "#teambeanie #fbf", while Toops quoted Texas folk singer David Ramirez, writing, "She hates the cold, and I believe it's cuz she's so warm. Yeah, I wanna be just like her, just like her…"

The last photo of the pair was posted a month ago on Toops' account.

"The Bachelorette" continued to document the couple's relationship throughout the season, even showing the time that the 33-year-old singer met the aspiring model's mother for the first time. The last update about the couple showed Toops heading home to Nashville, while Nilsson stayed in Los Angeles. In the clip, Toops tells her that he's sad to be leaving, while Nilsson told the cameras that she's hopeful that they can make a long-distance relationship work.

"The Bachelorette" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
