Autistic boy hate letter PHOTO: Cruel taunting words shock family of 13-year-old

An autistic boy has been the victim of an atrocious hate letter, with his grandmother receiving an anonymously written letter that taunts that the 13-year-old will never be loved, and describes him as a "wild animal kid."

The letter has shocked the local community and readers online, and authorities are currently investigating the case to see if they can press any charges against the author.

The hate letter insisted that the autistic boy would never be able to get employment, and also asked that he be moved into the woods to live, or alternatively be euthanized.

The letter was sent to the boy's grandmother in Newcastle, Ont., just east of Toronto, and it has been reported that the boy often visits with her through the summer months.

The mother of the boy, Karla Begley, has been left devastated by the letter saying, "It made me sick to my stomach to think that somebody hated my son that much and they didn't even know him. But they just hated him because he was different. That's the only reason they had to hate him," according to The Toronto Star.

His family has not revealed to the boy that he had received the hate letter, but he has noticed the increased attention around him, and is apparently enjoying gaining the extra attention.

His mom has said, "He doesn't know anything about the letter. He loves the attention, he thinks he's famous."

The letter's author complains that when Maxwell comes to visit his grandmother he makes a "noise polluting whaling (sic)" that "scares the hell out of my normal children!!!!"

The letter adds, "Do the right thing and move or euthanize him!!! Either way, we are ALL better off!!!"

Durham Region police are investigating and if possible will look to push charges against the person if possible.
