After capturing their 12th FA Cup Saturday, Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger seems to be focused on bringing in new players that will help the club and one of them is AS Monaco defensive midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal will prepare the £25 million bid for Kondogbia and looks to compete with Inter Milan which is also interested in landing the French national.

The Daily Mirror also reported that Monaco placed a £25 million tag on the 22-year-old when they inked him two years ago from Sevilla in attempts of making him stay and ward off interested clubs trying to acquire the midfielder.

But Arsenal and Inter are not discouraged and will likely push through with their respective chases to land Kondogbia.

Wenger is still showing interest for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin but the 25-year-old looks to be moving to Manchester United according to the Daily Mirror.

Besides Schneiderlin, another Southampton midfielder is being linked with a transfer to Arsenal.

Victor Wanyama, who had 20 appearances for Southampton last season, shared with a local TV program in his home country Kenya that a move to Arsenal would be nice.

"It would be nice to move to Arsenal. But at this moment such decisions can only be made by Southampton and that is where my concentration as a player is," the 23-year-old stated according to The Independent.

In other Gunners news, midfielder Jack Wilshere was charged with misconduct after mocking the Tottenham Hotspur in their FA Cup victory celebration Sunday just outside the Emirates Arena, The Independent reported.

"It is alleged his conduct in making and/or inciting certain comments during the club's open bus trophy tour was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute," the FA statement read.

Wilshere already apologized for his actions but will still be facing charges from the FA according to The Independent.
