'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 4 spoilers: Ghost Rider to return in action-packed finale

Last week, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 fans rejoiced as Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes) returned to the series. With the team's ongoing battle with AIDA (Mallory Jansen) heating up, what can fans expect from this new ally? What role will he play in the decisive season 4 finale?

The next episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 is packed with action as the series is finally gearing up for finale. The final episode is anticipated to be very exciting as the show brings all the characters together. With the return of Ghost Rider, the fight against the Life Model Decoy (LMD) army is sure to be a little easier.

However, Ghost Rider's appearance still does not give any conclusions. His appearance last week did not say anything regarding his allegiance. Will he join the agents and fight off against AIDA? Fans of the show will have to wait to find out.

In other news, the season finale promises to conclude the storylines from the past seasons. With AIDA's powers growing, the agents will try to escape her master plan. Of course, the Framework will not let their attempt be easier and the agents have to work their way out in the episode.

If fans can still remember, the first part of AIDAs plan is to trap the agents inside the Framework. The characters are forced to live their lives in the artificial reality unless they wake up. The second part of her plan involves the Project Looking Glass. Even though, this plan is still shrouded in mystery; many fans speculate that the plan will bring back characters Ward (Brett Dalton) and Skye (Chloe Bennet). However, Director Joss Whedon immediately shot down the idea of the coming back.

With all these things going to happen on the next episode, fans are very much in for an exciting season finale.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 titled "World's End" will be shown on ABC. It is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, May 16, at 10 p.m. EDT.
