1 Million Hours Prayer Movement in Hong Kong Arise For This City

HONG KONG--- Organized by Hong Kong Campus Crusade for Christ and Jireh Fund "We should do this?" 1 million prayers movement, all the churches and saints gathered and fulfilled 1 million hours in the past 14 months.

The related organizations are arranging a new prayer movement; they plan to fulfill another 1 million hours prayers in 12 months. The new theme of this movement is "Arise For This City" the idea comes from Isaiah 60: 1, "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."

The host institution believes that God will surly listen to the prayers and arise Hong Kong. "Through the prayer campaign, God reigns with his people, and prayers will widely lead its way towards many nations, tribes and different groups of people. The faithfulness and glory of God can be revealed in this era of turbulence," Mrs. Chan Kui Fong, chairman of the central policy- making committee said.

The central policy- making committee will hold vision sharing conferences for church ministers, youngsters and women on Sundays in February. The Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee, Dr. Choi Yuan Wan was invited to be the guest speaker on the last young leader vision sharing conference.

Nicely printed prayer books are available for all people. The books will guide the prayer practice of the participants everyday with bibles verses and prayer topics.

The opening ceremony of "Arise For This City" prayer campaign will hoisted at Hong Kong Coliseum on 3 April. In the coming meeting, famous speakers will speak on the occasion and hope that they can testify the grace that they received through prayers and make spiritual revival in Hong Kong.
