Award-winning actress Sarah Paulson has just thrown her name in to be considered for "Wonder Woman 2."

The "American Horror Story" star was recently suggested by a fan to be the potential villain of the sequel, Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah, and she endorsed that possibility saying "Yes please" to director Patty Jenkins. Check out the tweet below:

Looking back at the long history of "Wonder Woman," many fans have called for the big bad to appear in the record-breaking franchise's second installment. Barbara Ann is an archaeologist working with Diana at a French museum who earned superhuman strength and speed, as well as the appearance and hunger of a cheetah in the recent Rebirth series. Just like Superman's Lex Luthor and Batman's Joker, the character is said to be Diana's greatest and most iconic enemy.

While Paulson may not be everyone's choice for the part, she is undeniably a strong candidate to wear the Cheetah mantle. The actress has earned a plethora of critical acclaim and awards, most recently with her roles in FX's anthology shows "American Horror Story" and "American Crime Story."

Unfortunately, it has not been confirmed yet whether the sequel would introduce Cheetah as the big bad. With Diana previously going head-to-head with Ares the God of War, there is a possibility Jenkins will stick with the likes of Hades for villainous role.

Either way, everyone is excited to see what "Wonder Woman 2" would bring to the table. Jenkins previously teased it will feature a "great love story" and a couple of "new unbelievable" characters.

The first film has been the most successful DC superhero film to date, raking largely positive reviews and breaking numerous box office records. It grossed over $821 million worldwide and ranked first in Rotten Tomatoes' "50 Best Superhero Movie of All Time."

Its sequel is set for release on Nov. 1, 2019.
