What the devil is stealing from you without you even knowing it

The devil is persistent and relentless. He will not stop for anything until he gets his way. That means doing whatever it takes to break your relationship with Christ, be it tempting you or leading the way for you to commit sin. One thing is for sure, the devil targets all Christians and aims to destroy us. One of those ways is by stealing from us without us even noticing it. What are these things the devil is stealing?

The devil steals your desires

Do you know how much the devil delights in seeing you give up on your vision and desires? Let's say one of your goals is to stop cursing. The devil will try to break that commitment until you believe that you can no longer do it. Giving up is not a quality God wants you to have. Rather, He wants you to be a fighter. Don't believe the lies that the devil feeds you; he's trying to ruin your life. Don't let him steal your desires.

The devil steals your purpose

We all have a purpose and calling in life; it's just not always easy to recognize it right away. But once you do hear the call and fulfil your purpose, you'll know that this came from God. However, the devil won't just let you delight in your purpose and serve God with all your heart. The devil will try and steal that purpose and make you feel like your life is just meaningless. When you set your goals, commit to them. Any distraction will only be the work of the enemy.

The devil steals your voice.

God has called upon us to be His voice on earth. He expects us to share the gospel and spread the good news. This is why the devil targets your voice, so you don't help in sharing God's word. If the enemy can silence your voice, you can't preach to unbelievers. Of course, the devil wants more sinners in the world, which is why he is trying to thwart the plans of God as much as possible. Find strength and courage in God's promises and don't let anyone or anything silence you. Use your voice for God's glory.

Have you been feeling down lately? Or maybe you feel lost, discouraged, or uninspired? That's the devil working, and he's been successful, too. Open your Bible now and start reading God's promises again, and you'll realize that the devil is trying to steal your peace and joy. The devil can use everything in this world to manipulate you. But if your heart resides in the Lord, the devil won't break you.  The Lord promises you His victory.
