Episode 8 of ABC's mysterious drama "The Whispers" will see Claire (Lily Rabe) and Sean (Milo Ventimiglia) seeking out a man who underwent the same experience with Drill thirty years ago, TV Guide reports.

Viewers now know that Drill still exists and is not destroyed along with the rock; thanks to Minx's (Kylie Rogers) revelation at the ending minutes of the last episode. In "A Hollow Man," Claire and her long-lost husband will take it upon themselves to find answers from a person who had connection with Drill a long time ago.

"Whatever It Takes" opened with a flashback of Sean's plane crash and the mysterious blue rock. When the scene cut back to the present, the captain was seen forcing himself to recall his connection to the rock but try as he might, he could not. Wes (Barry Sloane) then curtly informed him that the rock had the potential to destroy everyone on Earth. He also told the rest of the team about what he already knew — that Drill talked only to children and that it could only be in one place at a time.

Meanwhile, Claire was in limbo, not knowing what to do with her relationship with Wes now that Sean is back. Later on, she chose to stay and make her family complete for the sake of her son Henry. Lena (Kristen Connolly) was also busy protecting her daughter from Drill. Since her husband Wes was preoccupied elsewhere, she decided to talk to Drill by herself. There was a catch though — Drill did not seem to like talking to adults as he did with children.

At the end of the episode, Sean had a vision of people disappearing on Earth.

Meanwhile, the International Business Times reports that "The Whispers" now occupies the number one spot on playback gainer on the broadcast networks among the age range of 18 to 49. The data was based on ABC's Live + 3 Day data for July 6.

"The Whispers" airs Monday at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
