The next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will be full of tension, action and revelations. Titled "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me," the upcoming installment finally sees Caroline work up the nerves to tell Stefan about her pregnancy.

But it's either she has chosen the wrong time or that he just doesn't know how to respond to baby news. When his girlfriend breaks the news, Stefan simply says "I have to go," easily confusing Caroline. However, if the promo is any indication, Stefan really has a pressing matter to attend to – a Heretics party.

In next week's "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode, Julian and Lily decide to throw a full-size bash in celebration of Mary Louise and Nora's anniversary. Behind the massive gathering of Mystic Falls' biggest enemies, Julian manages to set up a new threat for Stefan and Damon.

The synopsis says that the Salvatore will put together a "risky plan" to get rid of this new adversary and the risks include near-death experiences, apparently. In the promo, Stefan falls into the hands of Julian, who threatens Lily to choose whom she kills – her son or Valerie.

As Enzo warns Stefan in "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 promo, Damon "brought a knife to a gunfight." The elder Salvatore, on the other hand, gets ahead of Lily in answering to Julian's question. "Let's get this over with. Kill me," he tells his mother.

Another intriguing scene in the promo to look forward to is Lily lip-locking with someone who does not look like Julian at all. It is speculated that it is Enzo that she is kissing, although this is still very unclear at the moment. It will be interesting finding out what led up to that moment.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 8 "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" airs Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
