'The Sims 4' expansion pack news: Backyard Stuff to follow after Kids Room Stuff

It's only been days since Electronic Arts and Maxis released the Kids Room Stuff for "The Sims 4," but there's already word on the next game pack coming to the game.

Last month, information technology supply chain services company Synnex listed Kids Room Stuff and Backyard Stuff – both hadn't been made official for "The Sims 4" that time.

As fans already know, Kids Room Stuff was already released for "The Sims 4" last June 28. That makes Backyard Stuff the next downloadable content for "The Sims 4."

The listings have since been removed from the website, but eagle-eyed fans found another listing over at Origin and managed to snap a screenshot before the information was wiped out.

Since Synnex accurately listed Kids Room Stuff as the new "The Sims 4" DLC (EA is apparently the one that keyed them in), it can be expected that Backyard Stuff will be next.

Fans can imagine all sorts of items and decoration to be made available in this "The Sims 4" DLC and activities or tasks that will involve beautifying and maintaining their garden.

Meanwhile, a survey by EA sent to "The Sims 4" players via e-mail back in October also hinted that expansions called City Living expansion and Supernatural will be coming to the game as well.

It is unclear when these DLC packs will land on "The Sims 4," but EA appears to have some great plans ahead in the post-launch side of things.

In terms of release date for "The Sims 4" Backyard Stuff, it could be ready later this month, if EA's release pattern on game packs is anything to go by.

While waiting for "The Sims 4" DLC, fans can make themselves busy with the Kids Room Stuff. EA has prepared some tips on how to make the most of the game pack.
