Now that the Reverse Flash's identity has been revealed, every trick up Eobard Thawne's sleeve is being carried out.

In the previous episode of "The Flash," the fake Wells kidnapped Eddie before the latter managed to pop the question to Iris. Now, Barry is racing against the clock to save him. The previous episode also revealed that no matter how fast Barry may be, the man in yellow is always "one step ahead" of him.

The next episode marks the beginning of the Reverse Flash's endgame, instigated by Barry's trap for him. The Reverse Flash makes Barry and the STAR Labs team busy. The Flash may be fast but he can't be in two places at once. The evil speedster knows that very well and so, in addition to his threat on Eddie's life, he terrorizes Central City by unleashing Grodd.

Grodd, the gorilla that chomped on General Wade after the Reverse Flash left him in the sewer to become the hungry ape's meal, will introduce himself to Barry, Cisco and Joe in next week's episode titled "Grodd Lives." As if the situation can' get any worse, the telekinetic gorilla abducts Joe.

Now, Barry and the team must find a way to save Joe and Eddie and stop the Reverse Flash and his evil ways for good. However, the dire situation leaves the Scarlet Speedster no choice but to reveal his identity to Iris in a "heart to heart talk."

The person she grew up with turns out to be the fastest man alive and it is in this condition that she learns of it. For now, the journalist has no time for anger about the fact that everyone kept this huge secret from her as she herself is consumed by the knowledge that two of the men in her life are in danger.

"The Flash" season 1 episode 21 titled "Grodd Lives" will air on May 5.
