Earlier this month, videogame developers EA and Maxis released one of the biggest expansion packs for "The Sims 4," a diverse and dynamic DLC called "City Living." Presenting "The Sims 4" gamers with the city of San Myshuno and its many different districts, "City Living" takes sims to the concrete jungle of the new "The Sims 4" city where sims have to climb their way to reach the top of their career whilst making do with the restrictions of their apartments. Though gamers have been enjoying the new DLC so far, it seems like living in the city can cost money, even for sims.

Packed with districts like the Spice Market, the Arts Quarter, Uptown and the Fashion District, iTech Post reports that "City Living" and its residential apartments may end up too expensive for gamers to afford. The cheapest Uptown apartments come at a weekly rental fee of $2,500 simoleons with a deposit of $12,500 of the same currency. Meanwhile, a more expensive option for gamers would be a 10110 Alto department with an initial deposit of $15,000 simoleons and a weekly rent of $3,500 simoleons.

For a fully furnished Alto apartment in the Uptown district however, it looks like a gamer's sim may have to spend a sum total of $63,580. A fully furnished unit complete with a kitchen for a chef comes at the heavier price of $100,215 simoleons.

If a gamer were to choose an apartment in IX Landgraab, however, the cheapest will come at a weekly rental fee of $3,750 simoleons, whereas a fully furnished one will come at $76, 630. For a two-bedroom and two-bathroom apartment in VIII Landgraab, gamers have to dish out $5,000 simoleons a week or an upfront payment of $98,420 for a fully furnished version.

In other "The Sims 4: City Living" news, it looks like EA and Maxis have released a new web series based on the game called the "Let's Play" series. Interested gamers can check out the series right on the EA and Maxis blog for more details on the "City Living" videos.
