In the next episode of "The Orville," Captain Ed Mercer (Seth MacFarlane) and his crew are attacked by a mysterious force.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Firestorm" was just released recently and showed Alara Kitan (Halston Sage) and Gordon Malloy (Scott Grimes) facing off with a dangerous entity. "What do we do?" Malloy shouts in terror as he holds up his gun at it. Kitan screams without hesitation, "Run!" They both screech down the corridor hoping to get away from the unknown being. Apparently, everyone is in danger on the space vessel. Mercer's ex-wife Kelly Grayson (Adrienne Palicki) is shown suddenly hanging from a ledge when the floor somehow gives way and crumbles beneath her. She screams in terror hoping that someone will save her. The ship appears to be in a space thunderstorm as bolts of lightning hit the vessel from all sides.

Kitan is shown fighting with the robot Isaac (Mark Jackson) who appears to have been taken over by the mysterious entity. Isaac goes berserk and starts destroying things in sight. Kitan and the mechanical individual struggle to take each other down but they suddenly smash through a window and fall to the ground. "You have no idea what's coming for you," the compromised Isaac says to Kitan. It remains to be seen if Captain Mercer and his crew will be able to neutralize the mysterious force and bring everything back to normal.

In the last episode, Darulio (Rob Lowe) boarded the Orville to help with the negotiations involving two warring factions. However, the visitor happened to be the person Grayson cheated with, which prompted Mercer to file for divorce. Needless to say, Grayson and Mercer's interactions were awkward at best.

"The Orville" season 1 episode 10 will air on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 10 p.m. EST on Fox.
