"Teen Wolf" has become one of the most successful supernatural teen shows on air right now. MTV has done a great job with it and has managed to build a huge loyal fan base for the show. Now, it is gearing up for its fifth season, but a recent spoiler revealed that a major character won't be returning.

Holland Roden, who plays Lydia in "Teen Wolf," dropped the big spoiler at the New York Fashion Week back in September. She had a brief chat with Hollywood Life backstage and was asked about some season 5 news. Roden made a very shocking reveal.

"You're going to have to tune in for season five to see if we're all coming back or not. That's just the reality," Roden said. "It's sort of a toss up of who is not coming back for season five, but somebody is not coming back for season five."

The news comes as not too surprising for hardcore fans, since "Teen Wolf" is known for fan-favorite characters leaving the show season after season. This time, who could it be who's not returning to Beacon Hills?

Roden teased, "[Derek] walked off into the sunset, and he could easily wake up the next morning and go get Starbucks. Or Lydia could have magically joined Jackson in London. We don't know."

Hollywood Life speculates that there are three possible characters who might not make their way back to season 5. There is Derek who decided to stay behind. There is Chris Argent who also didn't leave Mexico with everyone else due to his pact to find his sister Kate. Additionally, there is Peter Hale who was imprisoned in the Eichen House.

Right now, these three are the characters who have highest chance of not being in season 5. However, the reasons behind their disappearance are more obvious. Come to think of it, if "Teen Wolf' wants to make a huge surprise in its fifth season, it can be someone who fans are not expecting to be gone.

"Teen Wolf" season 5 is expected to premiere in summer. Until then, everyone has to wait and see who will not make his or her way back.
