'Supernatural' season 10 episode 2 spoilers and synopsis: Dean saves brother Sam

The premiere episode of "Supernatural" season 10 was a good one and, needless to say, quite intense. It is just the beginning because there are even more intense and chilling episodes in the coming weeks, one of which is episode 2 entitled "Reichenbach" which airs next Tuesday.

Season 10 episode 1 dubbed as "Black" ended with Dean (Jensen Ackles) abandoning his brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) in Cole's (Travis Aaron Wade) dungeon. Cole is very angry with Dean and wants revenge. He is using Sam as leverage, and even threatens to slit Sam's throat just to get to Dean. After all these years, Cole is still blaming Dean for the death of his father.

But even with the threats, Demon Dean looked unfazed as he left Sam in the dungeon to be tortured.

"I told him to let me go, so any jam he's in now, that is his problem... He knows damn sure that if I am one thing, I am a man of my word," Dean said.

In the promo trailer for "Reichenbach," it looks like there will be a family reunion. Dean can't let his brother go just yet, so he rescues him from Cole, who receives a bad beating from Demon Dean. The brotherly reunion encourages Sam to tell Dean that they can bring him back to his original form.

"Whatever happened, we will fix it," Sam said. But Dean declines as he is enjoying the demon life — sex, drinking, women, and more. He then threatens his brother, saying, "I'm doing all I can not to rip out your throat," in order to send Sam away.

Demon Dean seems like he is enjoying his new self very much. Even Crowley notices that Dean has become more aggressive. Crowley believes it is something more than the demon effect. He believes that it's the Mark of Cain. Could this be the start of Dean's killing spree?

"Supernatural" season 10 episode 2 "Reichenbach" airs on Oct. 14 on The CW.
