'Suits' season 5 spoilers: Is Mike going to face the consequence of his secret?

When "Suits" season 4 rolled out, USA Network renewed it even before its mid-season finale aired. The current season has been nothing but spectacular, prompting the network to push that green button easily.

USA Network President Chris McCumber believes that picking up "Suits" is more than a good decision. Variety reported about the Season 5 renewal back in August, quoting McCumber as saying, "Suits' continues to fire on all cylinders, delivering provocative storytelling and complex characters that viewers can't get enough of."

The report also mentioned that the fifth season is expected to air in the summer of 2015. USA Network ordered 16 episodes, which is rumored to be the last for the show. Additionally, according to the rumor mill, season 5 will take on a more serious tone, and not all of the current stars may stick until the end.

Meanwhile, season 4 will be returning for its next half in late January. It will pick up right where it left off, and fans will recall that there was so much that went on during the season 4 mid-season finale.

First, there's the very intense moment between Jessica Pearson and Louis Litt. Louis threatened the law firm head of exposing Mike Ross if his demand of putting his name on the door is not met, but Jessica didn't want to cave in.

Then, there's the question of what Mike's fate will be now that Louis knows the truth and he's furious. How will Harvey Specter save him now? What about Donna, will she be able to find a way to help Mike? Also, what is going to happen with Jessica and Jeff Malone's relationship, where is that headed?

While most of these questions will be answered when season 4 returns, it is still believed that season 5 would feature Mike facing the consequences of his actions. Hopefully, Pearson-Specter will not be affected or the law firm will come crashing down. One thing is for sure though, the writers will do an excellent job with it like they always have.

"Suits" season 4B airs starting Jan. 28 on the USA Network.
