When the all-time fan-favorite wrestler turned around to reveal his game face on the WWE 2K15 game trailer, fans gained renewed anticipation that Sting will make a glorious return to the WWE universe.

The former WCW wrestler's initial speculated return was supposed to be during Hulk Hogan's birthday celebration at the WWE Monday Night Raw way back in August. But to everyone's dismay, the wrestling champ did not emerge. Now, new rumors suggest that Summer Slam Pay-Per-View may finally be the occasion the champion will finally re-engage in what could be the ultimate legendary brawling experience for fans.

If rumors about Sting's debut fight will come about, it will be a celebrated fight that may be headlining Wrestlemania 31 in 2015. According to Breathecast, Sting may be inside the same ring with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson or even Mark Calaway, better- and widely-known as the resurrected wrestling warrior, "The Undertaker." This should be one of The Undertaker's first set of matchups after his loss to Brock Lesnar during Wrestlemania XXX last April. The Undertaker is still recuperating from injuries he got from the bout.

However, Sting told Miami Herald of his ideal opponents.

"I'd love to see Bray Wyatt coming up the way he is because he has the one thing I do believe that is missing. It's the characters. Everybody is just so grey. Not everybody. I'm just saying wrestling in general in the last 10 years or so everybody got kind of grey," Sting said.

"The personalities I grew up with like 'Macho Man' Randy Savage was a reason I wanted to get into wrestling. Hulk Hogan and his personality, completely over-the-top. So I think this is really good. Wyatt is not completely over-the-top. Bray Wyatt has the ability to have a good mix of both. He has some realism along with his character," he continued.

Sting, however, considering his age, has many betting on a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match as his debut. So, in the future, Sting may challenge the current title holder, Brock Lesnar as his big comeback. John Cena has also expressed interest to battle the 15-time champion. Fans also want to see Sting combat with Triple H. And finally, CM Punk, who will reportedly return to WWE soon, is also pitted for a match with Sting.

If everything gets settled, the iconic wrestler may be inside the WWE ring by November 2014 at the earliest.
