"The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Shannon Beador officially files for divorce, a month after she announced her separation from husband David.

The TV personality filed the documents at the Orange County Superior Court on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences.

According to Page Six, the 53-year-old reality star asked for sole custody of their three children -- Sophie (16) and twins Stella and Adeline (13) -- as well as joint legal custody. Shannon also asked the court to grant David visitation rights.

She requested for spousal support from David, and asked that he paid the attorney's fees.

On top of these, Shannon filed financial documents claiming she spends double of what she earns every month. That is $55,355 divided into various expenses -- $12,000 for rent, $3,225 for a nanny, $10,000 for "entertainment, gifts and vacation," and $5,050 for education -- in contrast to the $22,000 she made per month in 2016.

She added that she has limited access to some $13,400 in "checking, savings...or other deposit accounts."

Entrepreneur David, on the other hand, was listed at $179,432 per month, from his Beador Construction Company, Inc.

Shannon first revealed the end of her 17-year marriage to People in October. She told the magazine that it was "heartbreaking," but "it is the only way."

"I felt alone in my marriage. You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties. You need two people to make a marriage work, and that just wasn't happening in our relationship," she said.

The former couple's roller-coaster relationship was recorded in her four seasons in "The Real Housewives of Orange County."

In season 10, Shannon revealed that David had an affair. They tried to fix the marriage through therapy as well as open dialogue with their family. And it seemed to have worked when in August 2016, David surprised her with a vow renewal at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, where they first got married as well as got engaged.

A year later, however, Shannon revealed that David has become distant, choosing the gym over his family.
