Samsung continues to make the headlines as it is preparing for its fresh releases this year.

One of the anticipated releases from the South Korean tech company is the Galaxy Note 6. Although the upcoming phablets release date has not been confirmed, it may be expected to arrive sometime in the third quarter of this year, according to a report from iGalaxyS7. Galaxy Note 6 will reportedly be released after Galaxy S7, which will be on Feb. 21.

Not much is known about Galaxy Note 6, but according to WCCFtech, the device will likely have an increased screen size of 5.8 inches compared to the previous 5.7 inches. There are also other reports suggesting that the Galaxy Note 5's successor will have a much bigger screen size at 6 or 6.2 inches.

Reports on the phablet's camera resolution are varied. One report mentioned that Note 6's camera resolution has decreased. The Galaxy Note 6 is expected to have a 12-megapixel main camera at the back, as opposed to its predecessor's 16 megapixels. On the other hand, there are also reports claiming that the phablet's main camera will have an impressive 30-megapixel resolution and its selfie shooter with 16 megapixels.

Under the hood, multiple reports stated that the Note 6 will either have an Exynos 8890 processor or Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820, two chips speculated to be carried by the upcoming Galaxy S7, according to the Inquirer. The phablet also reportedly has 64 and 128 GB storage options.

Other rumored specs and features include Samsung's S Pen stylus compatibility, a pressure sensitive screen, foldable screen, a 4000-mAh power non-removable battery that has fast charging capabilities, and security features like fingerprint sensor and iris scanner. It is also assumed that the device will run on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

At this point, nothing is certain about Samsung Galaxy Note 6 and all reports should be taken with a grain of salt.
