People are really excited for another royal wedding after England's Prince Harry announced his engagement to "Suits" star Meghan Markle, and the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby is one of those who are "absolutely delighted" by the news.

He congratulated the two and said he was "so happy" that the couple had chosen to "make their vows before God," referring to their decision to wed inside the chapel at Windsor Castle.

"I have met Prince Harry on a number of occasions and have always been struck by his commitment and passion for his charities, and his immense love for his family," Welby said in a statement, which came from Lambeth Palace.

"Marriage is a special and joyous commitment, one that Jesus celebrated together with friends at the wedding in Cana. I am so happy that Prince Harry and Ms. Markle have chosen to make their vows before God," he continued. "I wish them many years of love, happiness and fulfilment and ask that God blesses them throughout their married life together."

Prince Harry and Markle enjoyed 16 months of dating before getting engaged, according to The Telegraph. They had a low-key relationship, and Harry said during their announcement in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace that it was love at first sight when he met Markle. "When did I know she was the one? Very first time we met," the prince said.

They were set up by a mutual friend, and Harry confessed he never saw "Suits" - the show that catapulted Markle to fame as the beautiful and smart paralegal, Rachel Zane - prior to meeting his soon-to-be wife. Markle revealed she also did not know much about Harry, but when they finally went on their blind date, Harry said he was "beautifully surprised" by her.

Harry proposed to Markle with a specially-designed diamond ring. It contained a stone from Botswana and two diamonds from his mother, Princess Diana's, personal collection.
