The original A will return from the grave when the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 airs in 2017.

Entertainment Weekly revealed that Vanessa Ray's character Charlotte DiLaurentis, also known as CeCe Drake, will make an appearance in the remaining episodes of the fan-favorite horror thriller.

According to Ray, Charlotte's death left a lot of questions unanswered when she died in season 6. This means that the character's return will finally shed light on some of the show's greatest mysteries.

The actress also mentioned that she was back for the final episode of the series. "I was back for the last episode and had a really heartbreaking time," Ray stated. "It was such a special experience for me to get to have [Pretty Little Liars] as a bit of a home base, so I'm definitely going to miss the show and miss the cast and crew so much," she went on to say.

Ray also teased that the mystery about Charlotte's death and the identity of her killer will be finally revealed before the series ends next year.

Aside from Charlotte's killer, fans of "Pretty Little Liars" are expecting to learn who is behind the recent attacks to the Liars seen in the first half of season 7.

In the episode titled "The Darkest Knight" that aired in August, viewers of the series were shocked when Jenna (Tammin Sursok) shot Spencer (Troian Bellisario). But another big revelation came up when Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) knocked Jenna out and confessed that she is the biological mother of Spencer.

Fans are hoping to know if Mary is telling the truth about Spencer, as well as learning the identity of the new villain named "A.D." who dragged the unconscious Jenna out of the house.

The next episode of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is scheduled to air on Freeform sometime in April 2017.
