'Preachers of Atlanta' news: Third season of 'Preachers' to air on Feb. 3.

Oxygen will be releasing a third season to its ministry and tension-filled television show "Preachers of Atlanta" with the first episode premiering on Feb. 3.

With the show garnering a steady following, Oxygen has put together a third season and will be traveling down to Atlanta to follow the work and life of five ministers whose ministry ranges from spreading the gospel through music to preaching in the streets of Atlanta.

The third installation aims to document and tell the story of the ups and downs of preachers, not only as workers of the ministry, but also as husbands, wives, fathers, mothers and friends. "Preachers of Atlanta" follows up to two "Preachers" seasons: the first season featuring ministers in Los Angeles and another done in Detroit.

"'Preachers of Atlanta' features a young, vibrant group of pastors who are pushing the envelope and tackling real-world issues in their communities, creating thought-provoking dialogue," said, Oxygen Media's Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development Rod Aissa in a post on Oxygen. "The series showcases a new generation of preachers who, through their nontraditional approaches, are unapologetic in their ministry and unafraid to break down boundaries in an effort to drive positive change."

"Preachers of Atlanta" will follow the lives of Pastor Corey Hambrick of The Life Church Christian Center, Pastor Le'Andria Johnson of I.P.C. Ministries, Pastor Canton Jones of Free Life Church, Pastor Kimberly Jones-Pothier of Church of the Harvest and Pastor Judah Swilley of The Movement Ministries.

Oxygen released "Preachers of L.A." in Oct. 3, 2013, turning the spotlight on six celebrity pastors. After airing 15 episodes, the media company followed it up with "Preachers of Detroit," which was aired in Feb. 13, 2015. "Preachers of Atlanta" is expected to bring another season of unorthodox ministry practices that bring the Word of God to the ends of the earth, or for this season, the ends of Atlanta.

"Preachers of Atlanta" is set to premiere on Feb. 3.
