While she may be busy with her mission, she will nevertheless find some time for her love life. Executive producer Graeme Manson teased during the Paleyfest that they were planning on something big for Sarah and Cal (Michiel Huisman). "Evelyne is another one of our buds, so you know. Where did she get hit? In the liver? I don't think that's necessarily fatal."

Maslany has earlier told Deadline that the new season would be filled with new mysteries that would change the direction of the show. She said that Delphine would return as strong as ever after surviving the near-death experience. Rachel's mother, Susan (Christy Bruce) is likewise alive and would have a major comeback.
