NFL Mock Draft 2015: Top five prospects

NFL

With the NFL Playoffs underway, the other 20 teams will now be focusing on the 2015 NFL Draft. It will be a busy offseason for the teams not currently figuring for the grandest prize of them all, much of which will depend on transactions and personnel changes going on around the league as we speak.

The draft has been officially set and the top three teams who will get first crack at the new talent in the pool are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The order of the rest of the field will depend as the teams get eliminated one by one.

As for the potential picks in the field, the draft is rich in talent and the selection will expectedly be dependent on the needs of the team that would be selecting. Let us take a look at the top five prospects for the coming 2015 NFL Draft.

Marcus Marriota (Oregon)
Marriota is seen as a potential franchise player and a reliable quarterback who could easily fit in to the needs of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A former Heisman Trophy winner, the Buccaneers would be foolish to pass up on Marriota who is oozing with potential.

Randy Gregory (Neraska)
Looking at the needs of Titans, Gregory should be a great fit. Gregory could be a gem of a find if the Titans want to hone up their defensive end.

Leonard Williams (USC)
Teams who are looking for a promising defensive line could do well by looking into Williams. The Jaguars could benefit from Williams who should be a good investment before addressing their offensive side.

Amari Cooper (Alabama)
The Raiders may want to look for someone who can compliment Derek Carr and Amari Cooper should b be a potential choice. After ending a great year, Cooper can attack the ball in the air and make good plays on the ground as well.

Landon Collins (Alabama)
Teams in need of a reliable and strong safety should be setting their eyes on Landon Collins by now. Collins is a strong safety which could be picked up from the top five, a rarity in the NFL draft which could just happen this time around.
