'NCIS' season 12 spoilers: Tony and Zoe partner up for a case, Tony Sr. back in town in episode 19

In the upcoming episode of "NCIS" Season 12, the spotlight will be on Tony DiNozzo. In the last episode, he and Gibbs had to work on a cold case that was linked to the murder of a case. But this time, Tony will have a lot on his plate.

Episode 19 is titled "No Good Deed" and in this episode, Tony and his girlfriend Zoe Keates will partner up to work on a complicated case. The official synopsis goes:

"DiNozzo is partnered with his girlfriend ATF Special Agent Zoé Keates after evidence reveals that the murder weapon in an NCIS case was originally purchased for the controversial ATF sting operation Operation Fast and Furious."

The role of ATF in this case can put a wedge in a relationship between NCIS and ATF. But hopefully, Tony and Zoe will solve the case before things make a turn for the worse.

On a lighter note, Tony's personal life is also tackled in "No Good Deed." Tony Sr., played by Robert Wagner, is in town and he wants nothing else but to be part of his son's life. In the preview, Tony and Zoe arrived at the house only to see the oven on fire. This is the first time Tony Sr. and Zoe will meet.

In the next scene, Tony and Gibbs are in the car when Tony hesitates to answer the call from his dad. After that, Gibbs is seen talking to Tony's father. The latter admits that Tony made it clear that he doesn't want his father in his life anymore.

It's going to be both a physical and emotional battleground for Tony in the next episode. How will he and Zoe solve the case? How will his relationship be with his father now? Is Tony and Zoe really serious about each other?

Don't miss "NCIS" Season 12 Episode 19 on April 7, Tuesday, 7 p.m. on CBS.
