'Nashville' season 4 episode 9 spoilers: Luke's attempt at reconciliation with Colt falls on deaf ears

Reconciliation between Luke and Colt will be a long time coming in "Nashville" season 4. Facebook/ABC

Luke's (Will Chase) apology will fall on deaf ears as Colt (Keean Johnson) is determined to ignore him in the upcoming episode of the ABC series "Nashville."

In "Three's a Crowd," Hollywood Hills reports that father and son's drama is not coming to an end so soon. Colt is apparently still smarting over Luke's refusal to believe that Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) has something to do with Jeff's (Oliver Hudson) death. The youngster was a witness to what happened that night when the agent fell to his death. Now that Luke knows that Colt is telling the truth, he is doing everything he can to reconcile with his son. But apparently, Colt still does not want to entertain his apology.

Meanwhile, there will be tough times ahead for Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten), as new artist Markus (Riley Smith) will cause trouble for them. The synopsis reveals that one week before the release of his new album, Markus will choose to scrap one of his songs. While that is certainly problematic for Rayna, Deacon has a different issue with the singer. The promo shows that his jealousy will get the better of him.

Rayna's fiancé thinks that Markus is out to steal Rayna from him. He has been observing their closeness and he feels the other man's malice. He calls him cocky and arrogant, but Rayna does not see that, perhaps because she is too wrapped up with the new song they are recording. At the end of the clip, Deacon is telling her that Markus wants to sleep with her. Will Rayna take the warning to heart and distance herself from Markus?

Elsewhere, Scarlett (Clare Bowen) will take some time off from her tour to surprise her boyfriend Caleb (Nick Jandl). The two have been struggling with their long distance relationship. Will her return to Nashville make things right for them?

"Nashville" season 4 will return after Thanksgiving, with episode 9 airing on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
