Chloe (Lauren German) and Lucifer (Tom Ellis) explore the world of social media after a murder is connected to a celebrity dating app in next week's installment FOX's fantasy police procedural comedy-drama "Lucifer." Episode 8 of the third season titled "Chloe Does Lucifer" will also see Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) help Linda (Rachael Harris) cope up with the death of her ex-husband.

The 15-second promo for the upcoming episode opens with an argument between Chloe and Lucifer as to how they will approach their latest case. It then shows Chloe inside a mixer looking to gather information on the murderer with Lucifer giving her instructions through an earpiece. When a possible suspect approached her, Lucifer tells her to laugh at whatever the suspect says, so she lets out and awkward chuckle when the suspect asked for her name.

Based on the title and the synopsis of the upcoming episode, it is speculated that Chloe will be impersonating Lucifer in a celebrity dating app to communicate with other people using his identity. From then on, they can look into the murder linked to the mention dating app. The synopsis from Catermatt also indicate that "Chloe Does Lucifer" will deal with Ella's (Aimee Garcia) attempt at keeping away from Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) and Linda's progress in dealing with her loss.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with TV Guide, "Lucifer" co-showrunner Joe Henderson teased about the introduction of Lucifer's father in the show. Ever since the series debuted, it has always touched on Lucifer's daddy issues. Henderson says the showrunners are just waiting for a story worthy of brining in the game-changing character. Henderson and co-showrunner Ildy Modrovich also revealed that they already have considered actors to play the role of God including Edward James Olmos, William Shanter, and John Cleese.

"Lucifer" season 3 episode 8 will air on Monday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
