The complaints continue to come in as far as upgrading to the iOS 9 is concerned. After the initial word came out that some folks were encountering error messages and others ending up with crashes, a new problem has added to the list of debacle of Apple owners hoping to apply the latest Apple update.
The latest issue involves unresponsive "Slide to Upgrade" screens, something that pops up once users are able to upgrade their phones to the iOS 9.
A vast remedy would normally call for a phone to be setup from scratch once again, but some claim that they end up stuck at the screen. So technically, they are bricked at this stage and thus left with a useless device.
Folks who ended up in this scenario have already reported the matter to the Apple Support Community. A document has been published on how to resolve the matter. To fast-track a bit, it seems that users will end up restoring their devices to the last backup it had and then redo the whole process once again.
While this bit seems a bit inconvenient, it is perhaps the best thing to do right now since Apple has yet to come up with a better solution.
For the ones who haven't, it would perhaps be best to hold off an upgrade for now if possible. If not, the next best thing is to backup your Apple device as early as now before applying the latest iOS 9.
Do remember that this issue is not widespread so there are regions wherein Apple owners could probably go ahead with the update without any worries. Just the same, it wouldn't hurt to backup your phone since it would be better to save what you already have right now than lose a lot in case the "bricking" does not spare your device from doing so.
