Netflix just released all 13 episodes of "House of Cards" season 4 and now, fans are already looking forward to "House of Cards" season 5. The hit political drama has already been renewed, with executive producer Beau Willimon passing the torch to two new showrunners.

Reports suggest that this off-camera shakeup might push back the release of the new season to account for adjustments, but media outlets still believe that "House of Cards" season 5 will be released around the same time the previous seasons were made available for streaming.

After all, the new showrunners are Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese, who have both been senior writers for "House of Cards" since the drama's third season. This means that they already know their way around it.

That being said, it is still very likely that all-new episodes of "House of Cards" could drop by March or April next year at the earliest. For those who haven't noticed, Netflix tends to wait one year and 13 days to put out new episodes while making sure they drop them on a Friday.

The show premiered Feb. 1, 2013. The second season was released Feb. 14, 2014. Netflix waited until Feb. 27 last year to bring out "House of Cards" season 3. Exactly a year and 13 days later, "House of Cards" season 4 arrived.

Following that pattern, it is likely that Netflix will be out with "House of Cards" season 5 by March 17 next year. Interestingly though, there's word going around that "House of Cards" season 5 will be released in time for the U.S. presidential elections this November.

With the show's theme in line with the political affair, Netflix is said to be open to changing the schedule of the show. However, Netflix Life believes that the role change behind the camera and the time it takes to put together a season make a fall release for "House of Cards" season 5 a tall order.

For now, it is safe to say that "House of Cards" season 5 will be out by March 17, 2017.
