'Hannibal' season 3 spoilers: Hunt for Dolarhyde in top gear, Bedelia worries about Will in episode 12

The next episode of "Hannibal" season 3 will be the penultimate installment in the entire series. It is titled "The Number of the Beast is 666..." and it sees Will slowly becoming the killer he is tirelessly pursuing.

After Francis Dolarhyde attempted to kill his family — it was Hannibal's idea to have him go after Molly and Walter — Will has not been more adamant in catching the murderer. But this time, he is smart enough to enlist another person's help.

Raul Esparza is returning to "Hannibal" season 3 as Dr. Fredrick Chilton, who is going to be recruited by Will and the FBI in an attempt to trick Dolarhyde into falling into their trap. Freddie Lounds serves as the team's spokesperson for this.

But it's either Dolarhyde is just too good at sensing danger or a threat to his plans, or the FBI isn't an expert in tiptoeing during the mission. In the installment, the killer senses that the FBI has made its move, leading him to bring into play what is described as his "horrifying endgame."

Meanwhile, Bedelia knows that Will's empathy toward Dolarhyde is easily changing him and transforming him into something he really isn't. With that, she makes it her mission to knock some sense into Will's head before he is consumed by his intense feelings.

In the synopsis for the upcoming episode, Bedelia "warns that the killer Will should be most concerned about at the moment is himself."

"Hannibal" season 3 episode 12 "The Number of the Beast is 666..." will air on Aug. 22. A week after, on Aug. 29, fans will witness the finale of the bloody saga, which is titled "The Wrath of the Lamb."

Since the announcement of the cancellation, showrunner Bryan Fuller has been actively looking for the cannibalistic doctor's new home. However, there's no good news about this search yet, which means that Hannibal, for now, will have his final dinner on NBC before the month ends.
