There's more new content coming to the online component of "Grand Theft Auto 5," and it should make fans very happy.
The new update, known as "Lowriders," will be coming to "Grand Theft Auto Online" beginning Oct. 20, and it is bringing a ton of new goodies for players to enjoy.
As the name of the update suggests, it will be focused heavily on a very specific kind of car, and in fact, one of the focal points of the patch is a new shop in the game named Benny's Original Motor Works, according to Gamespot.
In the new shop, players can purchase all kinds of new goodies they can use to customize their cars, including more understated elements such as engine covers and also decidedly more lavish additions in the form of leather interiors. Players can even equip their cars with a new steering wheel complete with customized levers for a more extravagant interior.
Players can also add hydraulics to their cars so that they can watch them bounce up and down just like a true lowrider.
Prior to heading to the new customization store, players can visit its website through the in-game phone and pick one of the six available cars that can receive the new changes.
Aside from the new car content, "Grand Theft Auto Online" players will also have new weapons they can purchase at Ammu-Nation.
There are also new Lamar Missions and adversary modes that have been added to the game courtesy of the "Lowriders" update. "Grand Theft Auto Online" fans can now also get a fourth property to use for storing their cars.
Also added to "Grand Theft Auto Online" is a new option that allows players to show off their cars to their friends through opening its doors, hood, and even its trunk, according to IGN.
The "Lowriders" update coming to "Grand Theft Auto Online" will not be available to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
