'Frozen 2' spoilers, plot rumors: Elsa's connection with Rapunzel to be revealed?

With the new Disney movie "Zootopia" beating the blockbuster record set by "Frozen" in 2014, new plot details about "Frozen 2" have come to light, and it involves the true connection between sisters Elsa and Anna.

The original film's core is the two ladies' sisterhood and their closeness. However, new rumors suggest that the Arendelle sisters may not be sisters after all. It is being said that Elsa's biological sister is not Anna but Rapunzel.

This report is solely based on Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from "Tangled" briefly appearing in the "Frozen" movie when the castle was opened to the people of Arendelle. "Frozen 2" will reportedly explore the two characters' connection.

Interestingly, one can question Anna and Elsa's true family relation with the premise that Elsa possesses a unique ability, which is to control ice. This is the main driving force of "Frozen." Anna exhibits no indication that she has some sort of special ability as well.

Rapunzel, on the other hand, has the power to restore someone to good health with her long magical hair. However, it is important to note that Rapunzel's parents were shown in "Tangled." In fact, this was what the plot was all about – Rapunzel searching for her real parents.

As for Anna, previous reports claim that her own unique ability will actually be revealed in "Frozen 2." Additionally, the source of Elsa's power may finally be fleshed out in the "Frozen" sequel. This concept can also be a perfect set-up for Anna and Elsa's rumored duet, which is expected to top the original film's iconic song "Let It Go."

As for the other characters, fan-favorite snowman Olaf is expected to be back, but in "Frozen 2," he will apparently have a love interest. In previous reports, it has been said that Elsa will be that person, although the Arendelle queen is believed to be paired up with a changed Prince Hans.

"Frozen 2" is expected to be out in 2018.
