'Dragonball Xenoverse 2' news: Goku Black and Tao Pai Pai Stick vehicle are pre-order bonuses

Goku Black in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Bandai Namco

Much to the delight of most fans, the new trailer for the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" game has been released by Bandai Namco, and it features the return of the "Dragon Ball Super" villain Goku Black as a pre-order bonus.

According to Game Rant, while the "Dragon Ball Super" anime series has yet to be officially released outside of Japan, a new character from the series will be introduced to the other regions of the world in the upcoming "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" game. As revealed in the trailer, the powerful villain Goku Black will then be available as a pre-order bonus fighter when it launches.

This villain is featured in the trailer fighting and eventually winning against Super Saiyan God Vegeta, and it seems that Goku Black has a similar move set compared to the original Goku, which can be checked with the other trailers for the game.

However, there are slight variations between the two, with Goku Black's Kamehameha wave sporting a dark purple and black energy instead- a stark contrast to the bright blue blasts Goku unleashes when performing the move.

Regardless, the inclusion of the villain could only mean that the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" game is tied to "Dragon Ball Super." For those who were able to watch the anime, Goku Black has a ring that allows him to travel through time, and it is possible that because of the whole setting of the game — which is centers on the fact that all the villains are converging from different timelines — his presence in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" could be linked to his ability.

Regardless, Game N Guide reports that in addition, the pre-order bonus will also include a Tao Pai Pai stick vehicle as well. Right now, there are 80 different characters to choose from.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be released on Oct. 25 for North American Players and Oct. 28 for those in Europe.
