"Dragon Ball Super" recently wrapped up episode 28, "The God of Destruction of the 6th Universe - His Name is Champa," in which viewers got introduced to the new Champa arc of the animated series.

After Goku transformed to his Super Saiyan Blue self, he eliminated Frieza, ending the "Resurrection of F" saga and paving way to the new arc and a more peaceful Earth. Fans got to see Champa in the previous episode, and he is a fatter version of his brother Beerus.

The peaceful days on Earth was disturbed upon the arrival of Champa, Beerus' brother, together with Vados. It was then revealed that both Champa and Vados came from Universe 6.

The current world that the "Dragon Ball Super" characters are in is Universe 7 Earth. Champa was impressed at how the ramen on 7's Earth tasted and wants to have the same world to himself.

So he made a deal with his brother that they should hold a tournament. If he wins, Universe 7's Earth will be transferred to Universe 6. On the other hand, if Beerus wins, he gets to take six Super Dragon Balls from Champa.

The brothers won't be the ones involved in the battle, but rather, they will have fighters from their respective universes. This story then paves way to the next episode, "An Appointment to Determine the Match! The Captain is a Much Stronger Type as Goku!" Attack of the Fanboy reported.

In this episode, there will be a battle of five fighters from Team Beerus and five from Team Champa. While the episode will mostly focus on the tournament, Attack of the Fanboy mentioned that a side plot includes Whis and other characters visiting Bulma to get the last Super Dragon Ball.

Champa has the six balls, but only one is needed in order for the owner to get a wish fulfilled.

Catch the next episode of "Dragon Ball Super" on Jan. 31 on Fuji TV.
